About Me

Welcome to my website. My name is Danielle Longotano Rain, I’m a freelance photographer specialising in equine photography. Originally from Pembrokeshire, Wales, but I now live in the Lincolnshire countryside with my husband, our horses Spice and Donny, and dogs Spot and Lilly.

Owning horses and other pets all of my life, means I know how you feel when it comes to capturing everlasting memories of your four or two-legged friends. I know how special the bond is because I have that bond with my animals too, and by understanding this bond I can connect with you and your pets to give you the exact photograph you want.

Initially I studied Law at university, but my enjoyment of photography never went away. My photographic and editing skills grew as I began to take photographs, particularly of horses, in my spare time.

I then spent many years attending extra photography classes and seminars to learn new techniques. Soon I began taking photographs for family and friends with their pets, but as my reputation grew I was able to leave my legal career to become a professional photographer.

When I asked my clients what they liked about the images I took for them they said it was for the way I patiently work with each animal as adapt to an ever-changing situation.

If you do choose me as your photographer to capture creative and bespoke lasting memories I guarantee you will treasure the photographs forever.

Our pets aren't around nearly as long enough as we'd like them to be. And it is because of this that I specialize in animal photography - though I do capture images for small business websites.

My photographic packages show each animal as an individual, capturing their personality, character. You as the owner do not have to be in the photos if you don’t want to.
